Clipboard Genie

This plain utility lets you store text and images copied to the Clipboard, but its features barely surpass that of the Windows Clipboard. Clipboard Genie automatically grabs text from the Clipboard and displays clips in a straightforward interface. The Options menu has a setting for including images in addition to text clips, and offers tools for trimming extra spaces and removing line breaks or tabs. Clipboard Genie's hot-key feature lets you create shortcuts to launch programs or insert keystrokes or text, but you're limited to four during the trial. Though the program is fairly straightforward, the help files need some beefing up, not to mention a check on spelling and punctuation. Clipboard Genie works OK, but freeware options on the market offer more features and a snazzier design.
